Network Rail is the Not for Dividends owner and operator of Britain’s railway infrastructure, which includes 20,000 miles of track and adjacent land, 2,500 stations leased to train operators, 18 Major Stations and 8,200 commercial properties.
Fly-tipping on land in our ownership is detrimental to the experience of passengers using rail services. Additionally it affects the local communities the railway passes through both visually and environmentally. We have joined the NFTPG to share our experiences with similar landowners and to learn from their approach to tackling this problem area.
