Position Statements

The new exemption regime raised a number of issues for landowners that deal with fly-tipped incidents. So we have worked with colleagues on the Exemption Review Project, the Waste Recovery Team and yourselves, in developing a Modern Waste Regulation Position Statement for "the temporary secure storage of fly-tipped waste and waste from trash screens other than at the site of production". We are pleased to say that this has been agreed and published through the Modern Waste Regulation Panel (MWRP). For further details please click here.
